I am a wife to my high school sweetheart of 19 years. We have been through a lot together to include military life and the balance of finding who we could be after the military. This is just a small part of our story. We have two teenage children and moved into our first home just three years ago. We prayed for this home because we lived in a one-bedroom apartment before and we wanted our kids to have their own rooms and grow up in a better environment, One with neighbors and other children. I am submitting this wish because recently, both my husband and I found ourselves starting completely over with new jobs as I, also, near my last semester in school. It was not really what we planned and the weight of being parents to a senior in high school, a teen preparing for high school, and supporting me through my last year of college has been heavy and overwhelming. We pray and thank God every day we somehow end the day with food on the table. We are not behind on our mortgage but EVERYTHING else is sitting on thin ice and living paycheck to paycheck right now is an understatement. One month of our mortgage being paid would allow us to pay our car payments, catch up on our utilities and get groceries. I know and have faith that where we are at is temporary and that we will be able to share our story and encourage someone else when we triumph!
