We’ve spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital due to my daughter needing heart surgeries and procedures. We almost lost her earlier this year due to a complication and we were in the ICU for a couple of weeks. We are headed out of state to Standford soon for her 4th open heart surgery and we could be there for a month or so. I am unable to work to be her caretaker and for my own health reasons, so we rely on just my husband’s income and it makes it very tight every month. When we are at the hospital it always takes a bigger financial toll on us.
